Commodore
client: Commodore, commissioned by BSUR
Communication concept, art-direction and design for Commodore, known worldwide for it's legendary Commodore 64 which was launched in the eighties.
The design refers to the old-skool style of the Commodore 64. Back to the roots. The iconographic button graphics are based on the keyboard of this computer. For textual expression the original screen font is used. Besides that a lot of other elements refer to the startup screen of the Commodore 64: the frame, the square cursor and the word 'ready'.
Have a look at the bottom of this page for an impression of the original Commodore 64 and it's startup screen.
An ode to the glorydays.
