Radio 538 campaign
Radio 538
client: Radio 538, commissioned by BSUR
Print campaign for Radio 538, one of the biggest radiostations in The Netherlands. In cooperation with BSUR.
A few years ago radio dj's were mostly invisible people. Until Radio 538 presented their new dj's as celebrities. All the new dj's were announced in a huge campaign: big billboards, newspapers, magazines and TV commercials.
A lot of people listen to the radio when they are in their car. This typographical campaign was based on radio displays. Text messages on huge billboards, like blow ups of radio displays, which created a recognizable visual language.
At the time Radio 538 didn't have a very strong visual identity. This typographic campaign was the starting point for the strong visual identity that Radio 538 has today.
