INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN LAUNCH GLENMORANGIE - UNNECESSARILY WELL MADE
Recently the new international Glenmorangie campaign was launched. Glenmorangie likes to pride themselves of putting unnecessarily well effort into making the best whisky. The Glenmorangie iconic emblem is a refined work of art referring to ancient Scottish stone carvings. The campaign celebrates this emblem: it is handcrafted from various material such as wood and metal by skillful craftsmen. 'The making of' is filmed and photographed by highly skilled professionals as well. The end result features in the ad campaign. All enhancing the unnececarily well made principle and showing the beauty and pride of making the best of the best. I was involved in the pitch process: giving visual direction to the concept and campaign design. As this campaign is recently launched, it is needless to say, that this pitch was won. OPENING THRILL GRILL OF RENOWNED CHEF ROBERT KRANENBORG
For burger restaurant Thrill Grill of renowned chef Robert Kranenborg, I did the whole brand identity design, commissioned by 210kg. Kranenborg, known from TV programs such as Topchef, is a true connoisseur when it comes to food as former owner of a Michelin Star restaurant and chef at two others. The first year with the TG Food Truck was so successful, that recently the first restaurant opened in Amsterdam and soon another will follow in Haarlem. The premium quality is reflected in the design: from facade and food truck to website, newspaper menu and other horeca items. Instead of creating rigid guidelines, flexible building blocks were developed which can be used in various ways with room for playful creativity. Thrill Grill is already frequently listed in the top of burger restaurants.
